Junior Volunteer Program
Young people are always asking us how they can get involved and volunteer so we've developed a program just for them.
Kids and teens ages 8-17 who have a love for animals and the outdoors will learn about wolves and wolfdogs, how to care for our rescued pack, spend time in nature, and learn to be of service. Junior Volunteers prepare food for our animals, clean their habitats, and spend time interacting with them. They also help by working on projects that improve their environment and Apex's overall mission.
Our Junior Volunteer sessions occur regularly at our facility every third Sunday of the month from 9:00am - 1:00pm (summer hours). The group size is limited and any additional potential volunteers will be put on a waiting list.
*At the present time, the program is full. You can add your child's name to the waiting list by clicking the "Volunteer" icon to the right and filling out the application. As spaces become available, we will accept new applicants in the order they are received.
